What a night, what a meal, and what a gathering – it was a sold–out event! The "who’s who" of foodies, magazine editors, and lifestyle bloggers dined on an exclusive menu created by celebrity Chef Jeff Nathan at Abigael's on Broadway in Manhattan. We would like to share the highlights of the evening.

2nd Annual Pre-Kosherfest Dinner and Wine Tasting

Food writers, culinary editors, social media personalities, recipe bloggers, cookbook authors and food brand professionals are invited to attend an exciting pre-Kosherfest event on Monday November 12^th.  Fabulous Menu, VIP Swag Bag included!

Eat and drink the night away at an evening of tweeting, greeting, meeting relaxing and chatting with other foodies. Three course gourmet dinner and wine tasting presented by TV personality, cookbook author, restaurateur Chef Jeffrey Nathan.  $55 per person — reservations limited.  Live Facebooking and Tweeting, too! This event will also support Masbia, the NY area kosher food soup kitchen.

Separating Egg Whites/Yolks

An EGGciting Internet craze on YouTube! A new way to separate egg whites/yolks using an empty plastic soda bottle. We saw it demonstrated, live, at a cooking demonstration and LOVED the idea The original video is in Japanese − just watch the pictures as it is self explanatory! The second video is in English and is a "take" on the original. We are posting this one just in case you need further explanation. Wish that we would have thought of this – so easy and so clever!
